I was searching for some resources to learn OrCAD and I came across this book.

At first, I searched on Amazon and found it to cost $80 without including the shipping. By chance as I was searching for online reviews of this new edition, I found the book to be available on Elsevier for $85 including free worldwide shipping, this was better, so I ordered it.

They sent me an email containing the invoice and a link to track the status of the book, the link was supposed to tell me when the order leaves to the courier, which was DHL, and give me the tracking number. for some weird reason, the link kept saying no shipping info available while also declaring that it is proceeded by DHL. After waiting for a couple of days, no news, so I contacted Elsevier, their customer support said that the book is ‘print in demand and this takes around 10 working days to complete’, I told her that the book was labeled as ‘in stock’, she said ‘sorry’, cool no big deal.

A day later someone called me to get the book, LOL, what is that? I went to their link, there was a tracking number, I used it, sure enough, the book was shipped from the start.

Strangely, I paid no taxes or clearance on the shipment, I read that there is a 5% tax on books here in Egypt, so I can’t tell specifics about this.

The book was simply wrapped in a laptop sleeve-like cartoon paper and was in good shape and now it’s time for some good time reading!
